WHO: People who cannot fully experience traditional snowsports due to their disability. This program includes downhill skiing, snowboarding, and mono-skiing. This program is for individuals with disabilities ages 6 years and up.
WHAT: GPAS provides a snow sports experience for people whose disabilities would not allow them to utilize the traditional snow sport teaching process available from the Greek Peak Mountain Resort Ski and Ride School.

Our adaptive teaching program is for participants with hearing impairments, visual impairments, amputations, developmental disabilities, autism, cerebral palsy, partial paralysis and other functional differences.
GPAS offers:

A fully accessible Adaptive Snowsports Building
WHERE: This program is available at the Greek Peak Mountain Resort on Rte. 392 in Cortland, NY, and is based out of our Adaptive Snowsports Building.
WHEN: Our program runs January through mid-March.
The program offers sessions by appointment on Saturdays and Sundays.

REQUIREMENTS: Forms must be completed including certification from a medical professional prior to attending a lesson. Equipment can be provided, but appropriate clothing must be worn. It is recommended that you have your own helmet and goggles.
COSTS: For the 2026 Ski/Ride Season, the weekend programs for clients include equipment rentals, a Greek Peak lift ticket, and a personal instructor.
